X-Uvia Professional Soccer Academy has rekindled its senior team in 2021. Every academy need to have the existence of a senior team to be the model for the junior team to emulate. The senior team was re-established to give the many senior players in Ottawa the opportunity to dream big once again!. 

In the summer of 2020, a trial was conducted and 30 or more players came out of which approximately 25 players have remained with the intention to become members and to seek higher level opportunities

XPSA is very fortunate to have many opportunities for its players thanks to football agencies such as D’Alessandro Scouting of Italy, KSrius Football Management of Portugal and DWK Sports Management of Ottawa XPSA has a very bold project which is to become largest professional development academy in Canada by providing top level training and pro. opportunities for Ottawa players (male & female), throughout Canada and world!. To be able to achieve this feat, it starts with our senior team!

The senior team will coached by a football professor from Brazil and will play at the MC1 level of the OCSL starting in 2021. The next step for this team is to join the League One at he semi pro level in 2022-2023 season.

Much work to be done but we believe we can achieve these objectives

Adam Farinha is a member of the senior team and has shown a level of commitment to himself that is second to none. Adam has been a member of X-Uvia for a number of years and has developed into a very good player that continue to grow on a daily basis

Adam has come a long way as a player, he was sent to  Brazil by the academy where he grew in his experience as a person and became a better player in the process while learning the Brazilian Portuguese language. These experiences has prepared him for the opportunities to come.
