X-Uvia Professional Soccer Academy is a competitive soccer academy, founded in April 2003 by coach Richard Morris on the premise of changing players’ lives through football/soccer.
In August 2014, Dontaye Morris from the academy was selected by Manchester City’s scout in Birmingham England at the Elite Training Academy’s showcase.
A few years after the inception of the academy, our U14 players dominated a U17 league by defeating their older opponents while scoring 72 goals in 12 games.
We are proud of our accomplishments in developing and providing opportunities for many players who now play in Europe and South America.
Every new member goes through an assessment to determine his/her base level and receive feedback to aid the member in setting realistic goals to achieve their objectives
Training fields are centrally located in Ottawa, Canada to ensure our members have easy and convenient access to practices.
The surface of our fields must meet quality standards necessary to aid in the development of our players.
From the first day of entry, the academy’s members are introduced to the code of conduct and ethics; members are taught the four pillars of soccer and learn about the academy’s methodology.
Our soccer program is designed to create champions through learning in a competitive environment.
Each session is 2 hrs., conducted 4 times per week for a total of 32 hrs per month. League and friendly games provide extra playing times to improve competitiveness.
